Have been taking my Dad here for years. Always a great experience! Short wait time. Clean lobby. Staff is very dedicated and helpful. My Dad has special needs (hearing defects) and the staff take the time to communicate with him so he understands procedures and answer his questions. Doctor takes the time to sit with him and provide answers. I am thankful for Central Valley Eye! Thank you.

Called in as a new patient referred by my health plan Anthem HMO and requested the latest appointment of the day. I was booked 2 weeks out for 4:00 pm and still pushed to come in “early” @ 3:30 to fill out forms. I arrived at 3:45 and was having a hard time finding the place, feeling rushed and stressed I called the office for assistance. The office quickly identified me and started that I was late, and they should have to check with the doctor if I would be seen. I found the place and walked in by 3:50 and was now told that my 4pm appointment was cancelled as I was late. The receptionist called up the office manager who just repeated what with the receptionist had told me (with a smerk I might add) that my appointment was no longer on the books as the doctor had somewhere “else” to be. Bottom line is the Front office ladies have zero customer service skills and poor communication at best. I adjusted my work schedule to end early and drive half hour from my home for an appointment that was never even scheduled properly. I’m going to be contacting my insurance and letting them know the situation as well and requesting a different provider. Just wanted to give all of you potential patients a heads up if you schedule with this office be sure to get everything triple checked and give yourself plenty of time to accommodate their schedulee - as they will not accommodate you or provide any customer service/accountablity for their mistakes.
