Been a long time patient but moved out of the area. When I decided to go back to contacts, he was the only one to get me the right brand and prescription. I had gone to two others with multiple frustrating visits. While he may seem a bit strict he is open and listens; he will talk about options and recommend what's best for you.
Worth mentioning that I also travel around 130 miles for his consultations.

Love this place, they always go above and beyond - never rushing my appointment and they really honestly care about their patients and eye health. I have had appointments with both Dr. Barritt and his assisting staff - and both always tell it to me like it is. You only get one pair of eyes, and I am grateful they care enough to make sure I am using the correct contacts, eyedrops, etc. I have also gotten referrals to Opthamologist to further check what could have been an issue. The staff is prompt, friendly, organized and very easy to work with. The Office Manager at the front reception area is extremely helpful and I always feel welcomed.

Stern is a very nice way of defining the Dr., he was extremely rude to me and my son this saturday 1/9/20. I called to make an appointment and since I didn't receive a call back I stopped by to check in that I had given them the right number. The lady was very busy so I wanted to double check.
The Dr. then stepped in and gave her a hard time about why I was there, then he said he could not help me so I said ok. Then he asked where do we normally go. I said the other costo, which he responded with "go there but just so you know they are booked for 3 to 4 weeks," then he asked to see our purchase history at costco and saw that I bought several boxes but then the Dr. accused my son of not using the contacts properly and that he wouldn't have that as a patient.
Then he said we will make room for him but if we didn't come back he will make sure to charge me. I was so upset when I left that I just called back and canceled the appointment.
Nobody should be treated that way. Costco offers excellent customer service so I don't understand why this Dr. has this opportunity to work with Costco clients.
