I wish that I could give 2 separate reviews but this one will do as it was my initial visit. I called the day of for an appointment and was able to be scheduled same day which was awesome! I saw both Dr Boyd and Dr Yanik. Dr Boyd was very polite, professional and she gave excellent service. I would give 5 stars. However when I saw Dr Yanik all was well until the closing of my appointment. Her asking me if smoked twice while giving a response of no then her insinuating that I smoke marijuana was very unprofessional. If I answered your questions twice already with “No, I don’t smoke at all”, why would you respond saying “not even a little marijuana”. Very unprofessional and degrading! I canceled my upcoming appointment and will not be returning for that reason alone. I feel that If I was another race other than African- American I would not have gotten that response from her. I am now awaiting a response from Management.

Made an apt for my daughter 4 weeks in advance. Show up at 7:30am for the apt only to be told they cancelled it with no notice and the next available apt is another month out. Poor customer service and communication. Would recommend others look for an EENT that is more organized; especially when your health, and/or the health of your child is involved.

This off has a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. My special needs son waited six months for an appointment, only to be told at the last minute he could not be seen because the insurance is no longer in network with their practice. The appointment was made in April, but letters were sent to all patients in February and May. Since my son was not a "patient," he would not have received a letter. The appointment was confirmed last week and again last night, but we were given information about your practice no longer being in network with my insurance. I was taking time off work and pulling my son out of school early for no reason at all. When asked about self-pay to ensure my son could keep his appointment, we were told that due to the end of the contract with our insurance provider, my son could not be seen even if we paid out of pocket and did not involve insurance. I suspect it is illegal for a doctor to refuse to treat a person, especially one with special needs, according to the ADA. I will be seeking legal counsel regarding this situation.
