My son has a cyst on his eyebrow that has grown so big it hurts.The ophthalmology wont see him until June. I need heeeeeeeeelllllllllpppppppppp!!! Someone please help me.

My son was approved by my insurance to go to VCH, but they don’t have any appointments until April 2026. I called CHLA to see if they have something sooner. If so, that I would have his referral changed. The receptionist said I need to have an approved referral with my insurance then they would review the referral to see if it was necessary before scheduling, but that she cannot look at any dates until then. She was rude, not helpful, and she’s definitely not the type of person a scared, worried, and hopeless feeling mom wants to talk to.

MAY 17,2024 I WAITED 3 WEEKS TO SEE A OPTOMETRIST SUPPOSEDLY YOU CALLED ME AND LEFT A MESSAGE I HAVE NO MESSAGES AND I HAVE BEEN CALLING THIS DEPARTMENT FOR 3 WEEKS AND NO OPTHALMOLOGIST WAS ASSIGNED OK I WAIT FINALLY I CALL TODAY AND 2 DAYS BEFORE I WAS CALLED SINCE I WASNT HOME SUPPOSEDLY I MISSED IT AND TOO BAD NO APPOINTMENT UNTIL APRIL 2025 FINALLY I FOUND SOMEONE THAT CAN SEE MY SON CASH HES 1 YEAR OLD WITH SEVERE ACCOMODATIVE ESTROPHIA HIS LEFT EYE TURNS INWARD AND NEEDS GLASSES THE DOCTOR I SAW BEFORE WORLS FOR THIS PLACE AND SHES A JOKE OF A DOCTOR TOO.DONT COME HERE RUN

My daughter is a patient at the vision center with dr.Nalasamy she's a wonderful doctor really nice explain everything to you she's just great with my daughter

Hell yeah

This review is for Chla vision center. Don’t recommend this place. Staff is extremely extremely rude. They schedule 40 patients in one hour . I’m not kidding you.
