I left your office SO frustrated. If you need to dilate eyes at an appointment, you need to tell them WHEN THEY'RE MAKING THE APPOINTMENT. Not while they're there- and then refusing to see them when they didn't plan for that! I wasted an HOUR of my time for nothing. If I had time to take off work (since I need my eyes to focus at work) or have someone drive me for safety reasons, this review would be much better. You're getting an extra star because the girl who tested my vision was very thorough and kind. Other than that, this appointment was infuriating!

My mother called ahead to make sure that her insurance was in network so we made the appointment. I took off work to drive an hour one way to take her. They have huge waiting areas which they fill like a cattle lot. The entire appointment/consultation/surgery booking took just over 3 1/2 hours. Today they call me to tell me her insurance does NOT cover them. Then when I call the front desk to cancel pre-op appointments I am told the insurance DOES cover. Now they just called back and said no, it does not. Pack a lunch if you decide to go ahead with an appointment, you will be there a while.

The person at the front desk who answers the phone for the Tyler location is absolutely horrible and should not be working there. She is absolutely rude for no reason. I was being nice until I realized that did not matter to her because she was going to be rude no matter what. I called to schedule an appointment and make sure they took my insurance, because another place said they did but when I showed up they said they did not. Apparently this was too much work for her. Her name was Felicia and she was hesitant giving me her name. I never leave reviews but this was ridiculous.
