I had an yearly eye exam appointment on August 09, 2024. Despite having insurance, I chose to visit a Costco location due to its reputed good quality of various services. I thought it would be applicable to eye care too. However, I was deeply disappointed and regretted not going to my regular eye doctor for my annual examination. In addition to losing my money, because of full out of pocket cost, I was dissatisfied with the service provided. Dr. Sandra appeared to lack sincerity in her profession. She seemed preoccupied with her cell phone before starting my visit and rushed through the appointment, spending only 3-4 minutes with me! I had the impression that she was more interested in returning to her cell phone rather than genuinely examining patients' eyes. It felt like she quickly glanced over without taking my eye exam seriously. I even remind her if I need eye dilation she just mentioned its up to you . I would not recommend Dr. Sandra due to her lack of a caring attitude, which is essential for a Dr for proper patient treatment.
I felt obliged to clarify a point related to the response I received from the owner. The owner mentioned that Dr. Sandra has been on leave since March 2023. However, I'm unsure about the accuracy of this statement because the doctor's office provided me with a visiting card that still includes Dr. Sandra's name and appointment date. It seems possible that it may not be legal for the location to use a different doctor while providing the name of a different doctor on the card.
