The office staff was very friendly and helpful with getting me checked in, making sure my information on file was up to date and explaining how to arrange for text reminders of future appointments.
Dr. Mulligan did my examination gently and he patiently answered my questions. I have been his patient at Clearview Eye & Laser for several years and really appreciate the kind and efficient care I receive there. I recommend this facility and this doctor.

I wish I could give them less than 1 star. I have a serious case of Glaucoma which was out of control. My regular eye doctor couldn’t help me anymore so he sent me out to Dr. Marcus Meyer, the specialist. My treatment went alright, could’ve been different involving less procedures and less out of pocket money. Around that time, about 2 years ago, my wife was looking for a good eye doctor to get her eye problems checked out. So I told my wife to make appointment with Dr. Meyer. During her visit my wife asked Dr. Meyer if he can treat her floaters. Floater treatment is a very normal treatment where specialist is not really needed. Anyway, during the procedure this specialist was firing the laser so carelessly that my wife had to squeeze his hand and ask him to stop because her eye was bleeding. Very nervous this specialist stopped and realized he damaged the retina. It was bleeding and the whole eye was red with blood. She was rushed to a retina specialist at Valley Medical. This doctor Marcus Meyer did not take any kind of financial responsibility at all. Her insurance was billed at the Retina Specialist clinic and all the follow up surgery and consultations. The bleeding was stopped and she was told that she would need a surgery to repair the retina and remove all the bleeding inside the eyeball. It is somebody’s eye and there should be no excuse for this specialist to be so careless and damage it permanently. He wouldn’t have stopped if my wife didn’t tell him to stop. So afterwards my wife needed the emergency surgery and many follow up visits at the Retina Specialist. Few months after that she needed a cataract surgery because her lens was damaged. Her Retina never healed 100%, it left a permanent scar and her peripheral vision is inadequate. She had to stop working for months during the procedures Even now I have to drive her to work and bring her home because she is no longer confident in her driving.
I had a small balance from my many procedures and not enough income to pay for it. So I asked the billing office to consult with the doctor and see if he would kindly waive the balance. I told the lady at the billing office what had happened, also told her that I paid all of the other balances with 3 of past procedures but a couple of months later I started getting calls from a collection agency, ruining my credit. During my procedures I always felt like I was at a production line where the doctor comes and does his thing and leaves to the other her patient very hurriedly. He has many scheduled and he must complete all, somehow. All office staff and supporting staff are alright but the billing office staff is merciless. They must have their money.

I have always had very positive experiences with Clearview, the team there, and Dr. Mulligan. I established care with them after moving to Seattle in 2021 and opted to pursue Lasik later that year. The team was exceptionally professional while also maintaining a sense of humor and camaraderie. The procedure itself was efficient and comfortable and I was at ease the entire time. I would recommend this clinic without hesitation.
