I went in for a scheduled surgery and stayed overnight, and it was overall a great experience. The nurses were very friendly, and the doctors who overlooked my care were very attentive and answered all my questions. The only hiccup I had was getting discharged… for some reason, they didn’t set up my discharge to have the meds I needed sent to my room before leaving, and instead sent it to a pharmacy that was closed, but filled my prescriptions, and made me wait 3 hours after I was told I could leave because of insurance and filling the prescriptions, making it frustrating only in that regard. Otherwise, where I stayed, it was very quiet and peaceful, and I’d happily schedule a surgery there again (though I also hope I never need to do that 😉).

Only positive was a sitter named: Latasha. She was wonderful and caring about anything. She would care about every patient.
Negatives:after Latasha left another sitter came into the room and didn't even pay any attention to me and slept the whole time and was also talking on her phone and we heard her swearing which is not acceptable for a "Christian" hospital, they also brought a case worker to talk to me and was trying to say he was abusive and making accusations to the point to when my boyfriend tried to pick me up they refused to let me leave with him and I basically had to beg them

I started on Warfarin 6 months ago. I knew very little about this blood thinner. The Chronic Care facility was amazing. They explain the medication and guided me to what I should eat and what I shouldn’t. My many appointments were easy to schedule and they were ALWAYS on time. I liked that they called the day before to remind me of my upcoming appointment. The receptionist, Rachel, always had a smile on her face and I was amazed when I saw her doing a quick job of dusting the floor. I told her she had multi tasks talents. The clinic was always spotless. The nurses that tested my blood, were very efficient. They asked me questions and they answered all my questions. I felt like my total health was being closely watched. I’m happy to say I’m off of warfarin, but I will miss seeing all the wonderful people who work there. Their department should be commended for their exceptional care. Sincerely, Trudy Bordonaro
