I loved the doctor very much he is very knowledgeable and kind, but I would highly suggest that he hire another receptionist because this woman has horrible customer service. She blamed me for a error on her end and was very rude about it, even if it were my fault the customer is always right. Then just recently I called and told her that I couldn’t make my appointment with the doctor due to a loss in the family and I would be reaching out to them once I was ready financially due to funeral expenses and she just said “ok” practically hanging up on me! That is disgusting.

He does a great job. My whole family comes here. Been going to him for very long time and wont go any where else.

I've now had the pleasure of going to Doctor Wong's optometrist office for about a decade. He is a true professional in all regards with his knowledge, thorough and concise recommendations including suggestions as to what is beneficial for his patients. In my case I'm visually impaired and the care, empathy and patience he provides always makes my experience very appreciative and grateful. It's obvious being a generous person is in his nature and is a reflection of the kind of optimum service he provides. Also Yvonne is always proactive with her reminder calls prior to our appointments. I highly recommend this office for your optometrist needs!! Thank you once again Dr. Wong and Yvonne!! Raul G

I've been going to Clinton Wong for my eye care for over 20 years and he is the best doctor he's always so friendly, caring and very professional and his secretary is very helpful and kind! I highly recommend him to anyone that's looking for great optometrist!

Total Discrimination because of insurance (Social Status) I tried calling to get an appointment with Dr. Clinton Wong. The assistant answered the phone, was extremely pleasant and nice, we even exchanged a joke between the two of us. I asked if there were any appointments on Friday, she said yes, I said i would take it. She asked me if I had seen him before, I said no, so she started asking for my information to put down in the appointment book. I gave her my name and everything, then she asked for my insurance. I said IEHP, she said, "oh no, we aren't accepting new patients," and hung up on me. In a completely different and rude voice. Long story short, this is discrimination because of my class status needing IEHP. Well guess what, you can discuss that with Governor Brown's office since I have enlisted an investigation because of the blatant lie and discrimination.

I've never been to an optometrist who takes such good care of his patients. He's very thorough with his eye examinations. If you have questions, he has answers. He reminds me of my previous doctors from Hawaii - he's got the aloha spirit. My son and I have been going to him for a couple years and we've never been disappointed. He makes you feel at ease. We will continue to go to him. I hope he continues to provide his great services; I don't want to ever have look for another eye doctor. My son has IEHP (established patient, so they were accepting at the time) and as someone who has worked in the hospital and at UHC, I understand the complexity of insurance, so I can understand why he is no longer taking "new patients" with IEHP. It's difficult to bill certain insurances. Just wanted to point that out, so he doesn't get discredited for his good work. Regardless, I still go to him and pay out of pocket because I don't have vision with my insurance. If you're looking for a good doctor and you don't mind paying for eye health, he's your go-to.

Dr Wong is so great, the most thorough optometrist I’ve had. I saw him last December before my insurance was up for the year. Yvonne helped me get an appointment before the cut off time which I greatly appreciated. She’s so sweet and helpful. Such a great optometry, I’m looking forward to seeing them again this week. I’ve also referred a couple of my friends who also agree Dr Wong is great. Now my sister and nieces plan on going. I’d recommend to everyone.

My 16 yr old has ADHD, they handled him with extra care & we finished on time. Dr. Wong is extremely thorough & friendly as he examines efficiently. He listens to your concerns & actually investigates them. His assistant is warm & so knowledgeable.

Outstanding care! I've been looking for a dedicated family optometrist and found a great one over two years ago. I am pleased that doctor is Dr Wong. It’s taken over two years to provide feedback as our lives are so busy but no reflection on the doctor. This post is way over due. lol.
