Lady who I spoke to, blond hair, older, had a tone that I didn't like at all. She should learn how to talk to people without being condescending. I regret ever spending money there. I would definitely not recommend to any family or friends of mine. **Update from new experience recently** Had Carol help me surprise my mom with her dream eyeglasses. She made the whole process worth it. She genuinely seemed happy to help us throughout the whole process. We had to see the doctor to make sure the prescription was correct due to the last pair that weren't done correctly and they quickly resolved before the new pair came in. Glad I gave them a 2nd chance.

Bought a pair of Cartier glasses, had an issue with them, they said that they cannot fix them, sent them to Cartier , Cartier said that the lenses had to be taken out. Left them returned to pick them up, the glasses were in shambles, torn apart.Luckily Cartier stands by their name and replaced them with a brand new pair. The eye wear was dismantled , when I saw what they did with those glasses, my heart leaped. This company has no respect for its customers. There is someone or an entity in this company that allows this type of behavior by its employees. The fish stinks from the head. I will not purchase any high end product there, they are pirates. This company lacks principle, you should have seen what they did to those pair of Cartier glasses.

The employees are nice, but so is anyone that wants your business, I'll take it either way. But here's my problem, I paid $570 for what I thought was the same quality I get at Pearle for around $400. Unfortunately, Pearle, didn't have frames I liked this time around, so I went to Cohen. Cohen tested my lenses from Pearle that I've worn daily for close to four years. I was told I was getting the same exact lenses. Not so. When I picked up my new glasses, only the center of the lens was correctly focused, once my eyes moved slightly from that focal point, everything became blurred. I had to leave the glasses and come back two more times until they finally told me that they didn't use the same lens I get from Pearle (they used a cheaper lens) and they would have to replace my lenses with the same lenses I get from Pearle, that it would cost me an extra $200 for that type of lens but they weren't going to charge me (like they were doing me some kind of favor after charging me nearly $200 more than Pearle for cheaper lenses). It gets worse, I am a plumber and I've worn my Pearle lenses for nearly four years and never even had a scratch on them, within two weeks of wearing my Cohen prescription glasses, doing the same job I've always done, they already have a nick on the inside of the lens that is annoying my eyesight. Does this mean the quality of lens they gave me is still not up to par with Pearle? I don't know. I'm going to reach out to Cohen and see what they are willing to do for me because this is outrageous. Update: I added more stars to my original rating because I received a call from Cohens customer service and the young lady was very nice, apologetic and came to an agreeable resolution with me. I have to say that she was willing to look at all possibilities for rectifying the issue. I am extremely happy with the customer service I received and I raised my star rating because I understand that my experience with Cohen was an individual experience and not indicative of their overall service or customer satisfaction. Thank you Cohen. Update: I lowered my rating again because after everything described above, I get an invoice from my health insurance that Cohen tried charging them $800 after I originally paid $570 cash and used my union voucher. Luckily, my insurance didn't pay the $800. I can't pass judgment because I don't know how the system works but it just doesn't seem kosher to me and i thought i should share.
