I'm a retired retina surgeon, so when at 4:30pm my wife started having symptoms that could have indicated a retinal tear or even an early detachment, I quickly googled retinal specialist and found the folks at Colorado Eye Institute were the closest practice (we just sold our home in Manitou Springs and were staying in a hotel before heading back to Florida). They kindly got us right in and Dr Becker gave my wife a thorough retinal exam, which fortunately found no significant issues. He has a wonderful chairside manner, and excellent training, so I would recommend him without hesitation.

Everyone at the eye Institute are exceptional friendly. The office seems well managed and Dr Krivo is very nice and has a great sense of humor. He is also an excellent doctor and is very thorough with his eye examinations. I feel good about his assessment of my eye health and will go back to see him for any of my eye needs.

The north side location is way better, the Dr. Here argued with me about my autoimmune disease. He didn't know the meaning of the word seronegative and implied my rheumatologist didn't know what they were talking about. You are an eye Dr. Sir, not a rheumatologist, stay in your lane. I have no filter so I Google it in front of him, proved him wrong. I told him my previous ophthalmologist said I NEED to be dilated before I get my eyes checked every time, and he wouldn't listen and gave me a new script without dilating my eyes, so im definitely getting a second opinion. My new prescription from this office says my left eye magically got a whole point better . Save yourself time and money and don't go here.
