First I’d like to start by saying Dr.Fracht is thorough in his exams which on one hand is great but on the other it can be costly and time consuming. He referred me to a specialist who all but said this was a waste of my time. When he referred me he made it seem urgent that I be seen even saying if they can’t get you in this week call the office so they could try to get me into the specialist. I of course called and said it was urgent I be seen and my anxiety was triggered thinking the worse. Thankfully I was seen in a few days and that put my worries at ease. I spent 45 dollars to see the specialist for absolutely nothing. Everyone is not in the position to spend time taking off of work and money for referrals to specialists that aren’t necessary. He then wanted me to be seen every six months which results in more copays ($50) since it is considered a medical appointment. I was also given false information over the phone by the front desk staff on being billed just to arrive for my appointment and being told something completely different. I provided the name of the person who gave me the information and was basically told she was gone for the day so there was no way to verify with her. It’s also extremely difficult to get someone on the phone here. The front desk staff can be rather short with you especially over the phone. Carl who handles their eye center is amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about him and how he handles patients. I along with my family members were transferred to this office due to our previous eye Dr. retiring and referring his patients here. On top of my issues with the office they have lacked in patient care for them as well. These things coupled together were the final straw in me transferring my care to another provider. I hope this practice looks internally at patient care practices, communication and accessibility. Also if you are a patient here and you leave a review they do not agree with they may in fact contact you for its removal. This is probably why they have a very limited number of reviews. Please do not waste your time I have already voiced these concerns with your office. No further discussion is needed.

Dr. Fracht and his staff are very caring and always put their patients first. I would highly recommend seeing them if you are in the area and are in need of an ophthalmologist.

We have followed Carl from the eye glasses center to Conshohocken and we couldn't be happier. My wife and I both take our kids here and Dr Fracht and his staff are beyond friendly and caring. Super great experience and will recommend them to others.
