Jackie was my initial contact. She was very competent, kind, caring, helpful and expedited my need for an appointment as my glasses were broken. That led me to meet one of the best optometrists in Miami, Dr. Lopez. He is in a category beyond compare. He is a caring professional who considered my concerns, health, and happiness. Dr. Lopez communicated with me as an individual and prioritized my wellbeing. He is truly outstanding. Also, I want to mention the optician. He is warm, and talented with a great sense of style. Due to an insurance change mid-year, I searched for a quality eye doctor and chose Coral Eyes based on superior reviews found on multiple online sites. Coral Eyes promptly scheduled my daughter's appointment in August 2023 for a contact lens fitting. We paid a nominal insurance fee and my daughter received sample pairs of 2 brands of contacts and instructed to decide later after using them all. Come late November, things took an unexpected turn. My daughter returned from college break and told me she chose her preferred lenses and wanted to place the order. I reached out to my insurance company to inquire about my limit and discovered the annual limit had already been used by Coral Eyes in early November without our knowledge or consent. In a 3-way call, Coral Eyes admitted to using the full limit "in preparation" of an order without any communication or order placement approval. The insurance company hinted to them at potential fraud, and although Coral Eyes initially agreed to deduct the full insurance amount (that they already claimed and received payment for) from my daughter’s chosen lenses' cost, they later back tracked their statement stating the entire insurance amount covered the "contacts fitting" appointment only. If I wanted to order contacts I would have to pay the full price. This questionable practice raises my concerns about insurance fraud and Coral Eyes.

Dr. Lopez & his entire staff were amazing. First time I have ever received contacts that actually work for me. He took the time to try as many strengths as I needed until I found the perfect fit. They made me feel my satisfaction was the most important thing & that I never felt rushed into a decision. I will stay a loyal patient from now on. Thank you Coral Eyes!
