The whole staff is wonderful. They are always pleasant and smiling. Dr. Chang is awesome. I'm so glad that Cornea and Cataract Consultant took over Dr Akins patients.

Where to begin? I'm young and my Dr. wanted to insure I went to have my cataracts removed by someone who wouldn't "mess up his previous laser surgery", he chose here! Great choice. I was nervous. I didn't know what to expect, but when Dr. B. Chang explained it, I was at ease. Surgery took approximately :15minutes, he did not rush and he really knew his stuff. I was amazed. His nurse, Joyce, is so sweet and willing to answer questions as well as the front desk staff. But Dr. B. Chang is the Rock Star!! If you have to have surgery ask for him!! Tell him Tonya, the Gen X'er sent you!

Dr. Hill and everyone in this office are excellent. He thoroughly explains what is going on with my eyes. If my husband or I have any questions Dr. Hill patiently and kindly answers the questions. I would recommend Dr. Hill and all the staff to anyone who is seeking medical care for his eyes.

The office staff was not together on what was required for my visit. Had to ask each other what they were supposed to do. Also, this office is not up-to-date on technology as others. They dilated my eyes with drops while I am aware that there is technology that doesn't require that. I am pleased though with the testing performed and Dr Chang's experience. The staff were very kind and friendly.

Was referred to Dr. Chang by my Optometrist. Traveled to Nashville and so glad I did! Had issues going on and was very nervous… just not really knowing what was going on with my vision. Dr Chang was very Professional and compassionate! I finally felt heard and he answered my questions and put my mind at ease. Thank you so much Dr Chang and staff!

I had appointment with Dr. Groos to discuss cataract surgery. He gave me the opinions I have & the info I needed to make my choice. The staff is very friendly & informative. Will have my surgery in November. I highly recommend this practice.

I visited Cornea and Cataract Consultants in Murfreesboro and saw Dr. Mark Ewald. After spending hours going through vision testing, the actual time spent with the doctor was only about five minutes. During that brief visit, we asked a few general questions, and one of them was answered with “I don’t know.” Dr. Ewald told us that what we are experiencing is “normal” but could not explain why vision is worsening. This left us feeling rushed and dismissed after a long appointment, with no real clarity about the situation. For a specialist, we expected more thorough communication and effort in addressing our concerns.

convenient location and easy parking all located on first floor. front desk is super friendly. Precheck personnel are super friendly and easy to talk to. there are four of my family members who go to Dr. Chang and we all think he is great. Easy to talk to and confident that his decisions are in the best interest of his patients. Love that they are on this side of town (Highland) where traffic is minimal and less hectic.

So incredibly appreciative to Dr. Rooney and his staff here for the positive results following my cataract surgery. A failed or botched procedure could have ended my career so very relieved to have had be the success it has been. Forever grateful and highly recommend!

Really like Dr Jordan Hill. Very knowledgeable and I would recommend to anyone. Had to have have cataract surgery and two lens surgically placed in my eyes. I'm 57 yrs old and haven't been able to see this good without glasses since I was 8. Very seldom have to wear reading glasses. Top notch.

Didn't know what to expect when I went in for cataract removal surgery. Was referred to Dr Groos due to previous surgeries I had on my eyes. I am so glad I was. Dr Groos has me seeing 20/20. He's a kind and caring Dr. with an exceptional Receptionist. Was a great experience from start to finish.

Dr Chang and his staff is the best. I had to have cornea transplants in both eyes. Be for seeing Dr Chang I was worried about seeing well enough to get my drivers license. After the surgery I am playing golf again and don't have to have anyone tell me where my ball is because I can see the ball hit the ground and roll. I would recommend Dr Chang to anyone. And I did recommend him to my brother. He also had both corners transplanted. He wore glasses his hole life until after the surgery. Now he don't ware glasses.

If you have eye problems, Cornea or Cataract issues this is the place to go. I've been seeing Dr Ewald and have great respect for him. He's very professional and takes his time with patients. He's well spoken and makes sure you understand his findings. The office staff and technicians are all great and always treats you with kindness. I go to the Murfreesboro office and have always been pleased with my visits. ☺️

Great doctors and staff!!

Provides inaccurate pricing upfront then charges you more after surgery. Office Confirmed my out of pocket expense before procedure, then after charged $545 additional. I requested a discount due to their error, doctor denied allowing discount for their error.

Superb medical care, but deducted a star for the awful telephone system that makes it very difficult to connect to the Murfreesboro office. I have several times given up and just driven there to speak with someone or to make an appointment. Too many prompts that don’t go to where I need.

Everyone was very nice and friendly at your office on 02/26/25. However, I have not received a call to schedule the cataract removal procedure. I have called your office 3 times, but no one has called me. What do I need to do?

Dr. Chang told me he wasn’t sure he could save my sight. I was was forewarned. He performed surgery and now I can see again. I’m quite happy. He and his staff are all nice and friendly and efficient. Thank you for helping me see again!

I had an outstanding experience starting with the scheduler and friendly receptionist followed by very efficient support staff to Dr. Chang. Dr. Chang listened to me, interacted, reviewed test results, and then summarized in detail a plan of action for me to follow. Wonderful office. Personable and efficient. Dr. Jordan Hill took care of both cataract surgeries for me. The results were and still are amazing. Still seeing clear as a bell two yrs later. I felt completely at ease during the surgeries and every appointment after. Very much a blessing to have such great care. I am very grateful.

Dr. Rooney is the absolute best! I am so thankful an interim Doctor referred me to him! He is professional, on time, extraordinarily caring and willing to work me in if my discomfort (after surgery) got to be too much! He goes above and beyond and will be my Glaucoma doctor from now on!

The receptionist Debbie was fantastic. She was great and was multitasking the front office with a smile and pleasant attitude. Great visit with Dr Groos as well. I usually go to the Nashville office however came here due to living in Murfreesboro. I’m glad I did.

I have nothing but good things to say about Cornea Consultants in general, and Dr. Rooney in particular. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Rooney is very nice, and he expertly removed film that had developed on both of my cataract lenses. My vision is much improved, and I am very happy.
