I decided to give this Dr. and optical center a try because we have been Costco members for years. My daughter’s glasses we bothering her and at the age of 50, things were starting to get a little blurry up close. I just threw away $700.00!!! To start with, the exam was a joke. The tech started with complaining to her coworker about how the machine she was getting ready to use on me kept erroring out and did she know how to reset it. She did not yet it was used anyway. The Dr. was nice enough but while testing for vision clarity, didn’t bother giving any indication at the range of vision she was testing for. Simply clicked through three lenses asking which one was clearer and then wrote a prescription. My daughter had the same experience. A week later I go to pick up our glasses and they are useless. Even though I originally complained about things being slightly blurry up close, this Dr. decided I needed to be able to read signs that were 500 feet away. Essentially writing a prescription for binoculars. Of course the staff got incredibly rude when I asked what was going on with the glasses because I didn’t come in complaining about not beings able to read signs across a football field. Their response, we told you the prescription was for distance only! This prescription was so bad, it shrunk everything by 25% making everything look miniaturized, depth perception was gone, and everything within my functioning 5ft-25ft field of vision was shot. They told me I would have to get used to it. My daughters glasses, same story. After spending 20+ minutes finding frames that fit her face, we purchase them. I bring hers home, she puts on her glasses, not surprised now, the glasses won’t stay on her face, completely falling off. I call the optical center and I get the response, of course they’re not the same glasses you selected. Do yourself a favor, go to a real vision center. This place is horrible.
