I did eye exam then get prescription, but the new glasses felt very uncomfortable even though I tried for 2 weeks gave me headache. I tried to call once, but no answers. Then I was too busy to follow up again ended up I just use my old glasses. Currently, my dog broke my glasses so I tried again my Costco glasses. It's been a month the glasses still uncomfortable. I called, they asked me to do exam again and pay again just like another exam because my last exam was a year ago. I get it that it considers a new exam again, but I don't want to comeback there again to pay for inaccurate exam just like they did last year. It's better to pay for somewhere else that can give me an accurate prescription.

Just picked up my third pair of glasses from citrus heights Costco and I'm very pleased. All the employees have been kind, friendly and helpful. I've probably just been lucky but I've not had to take a # and wait. Being that it's costco, I'm sure that's not always the case. Thanks costco optical!

I bought progressive lenses and chose a frame from one of their expensive quality ones in their display boxes. They come cheaper than other optical stores where I could get from. I was told that they get them in bulk which is why they could sell them to members for cheaper. It’s really convenient for me to get them adjusted when they felt wonky cuz I mishandled them.
The guy who worked there (for a long time I believe) has a very cocky attitude. I’ve dealt with him numerous times and I’m always cautious and preparing myself when I’m next in line, so I don’t have to snap back at him😂.
I get better service with perfection on fit and coating of lenses at specialized optical stores.
