The Queens Rego Park Center ,Costco Optometry department and doctors are great in my opinion. My friends and I am has received fabulous service. They can get busy so sometimes you have to be patient and wait your turn, but the service I receive is always professional, helpful and courteous. The prices are very fair and the turn around time on glasses and contacts is short and timely with a courtesy call when ready for pick up. So much better than our old clinic and lens store/ dispensary. Doctor Tony Park is the amazing.

Updated 02/2022: Exam prices went up significantly! $90 for the regular eyeglasses exam and $135 for the contact lenses exam. Price includes Optos Retinal Imaging test, but the dilation and visual fields tests are still extra. Long gone the beepers, by the way. Updated 10/2020: Prices for both exams have risen significantly. As you can see from the photo it's $65 vs. $50 in 2018 for the regular eyeglasses exam, and that is without visual fields ($40) and dilation tests. But they do accept more insurances now, so if you have one of those, you should be fine. Doctor is great, very attentive and explained everything in detail, but don't even think about just walking in on a weekend without an appointment, despite them telling you that you can: you will wait for hours as they obviously prioritize all the appointments, and walk-ins are the lowest priority. The wait on a weekend is so long that they give you a pager, so you may roam the store while waiting. Might be different on a weekday though, so strongly recommend setting up an appointment. Original review 2018: New doctor Tony Park is great. Very attentive, explained everything in detail, not rushing, not pushing any products. Optical department is great as well, with large selection of frames for adults and kids.

It was my first time at Costco Opticals, I have read a blog that says optometrist is better there than those at the store. And it didn’t disappoint me, the service was so much better and more, Dr Tony Park explained very well about the condition of my eyes like the retina, or if you have glaucoma or cataract those kind of stuff which I never experienced from the store, maybe they have too but for extra charge?? Dr Park was not in a hurry which compared to Ilother optometrist I had seen always did. Overall I am very satisfied and will def come back. The glasses are also priced fair or even cheaper if you are a Costco member.
