I visited Costco on a Wednesday morning since I thought it would be a slow day. Heather was the person behind the counter, she tried to mutter a hello, and we replied hello(we were the only customers). We had already selected the glasses, and she asked me for the insurance name without asking me my name or anything else. I said I was unsure; let me find out from my husband. I explained that we always get our stuff from them, so I didn’t understand why she couldn’t look it up. With a very annoyed face and rude attitude, she got on the computer and made calls. She finally returned to tell me that maybe they don’t take my insurance, and that’s why she couldn’t find that. I told her I would pay cash and to please make the transaction. She proceeded to complete the transaction and just charged me for the purchase. She did not explain anything about the glasses or offer anything regarding the prescription. At this point, I understood that she was annoyed with my presence and didn’t want to bother providing me with the basics of customer service. She could’ve bothered to take a look at the computer from the beginning and refused to do so. I am not sure what the attitude was about or the rudeness, but as a person of color, I don’t know what to think. This Costco has some of the rudest employees, but this was my first time experiencing a rude attitude from the people in charge of the optical. Even though they have better prices for glasses, I will be taking my business somewhere else. A place that can provide basic customer service without rudeness or attitudes.

I had a great experience! This was the first time I have gotten contacts so I was a little nervous being that I have never put them in. They were all very encouraging and I never felt rushed. Very professional and friendly staff! A big Thank You to the doctor and her staff!

Great team here. Went in on Saturday and picked up my glasses on Wednesday. I couldn't believe they had glasses that fit my big fat head. Got $50 off when I purchased 2 pairs. Thank you.
