My high index Anti-Reflective (AR) coated lenses crazed from heat in the car during the first summer I had them causing blurry vision and Costco would not even cover a portion of the cost to replace the lenses. I have never had crazing with LensCrafters during 15 years of using LensCrafters lenses with AR coatings. $100-200 to replace the lenses at Costco. This is a material miss-match issue in which the coating and the lens do not expand at the same rate in hot conditions resulting in cracks. The materials are specified by Costco so in my opinion it is a basic material compatibility issue.

My mother had an awful experience! After being rescheduled for the third time she showed up for her appointment to be told she didn’t have one! At no fault of hers, the receptionist gave her the wrong day! Dr Krause said he would not take her as a walk in and walked in his office and shut the door. Then proceeded to go outside for smoke break. He had 40 minutes free in which he could have taken me! I’m shocked at the lack of care for patients and customer service! If he would have taken the time to listen he would have realized it was their fault. Will never return again!!

The customer service is amazing and so are the prices! But I have been waiting three weeks for my glasses to come in and they said the lab doesn’t work on glasses from Friday to Monday because it’s a “weekend”. They told me multiple times I would have my glasses this week. Hopefully I’ll only have to wait until next week. Which will have been a whole month but I like them. I would give 5 stars for the employees but it’s definitely 0 stars for this lab Costco has. I don’t believe I’d be so frustrated if I was told about this month wait or had a tracking number.
