After waiting 45 minutes to have my number called, the little Mexican guy took one look at my frames and told me they couldn’t carry a prescription because they were “over the counter” and tinted already. I’ve been wearing glasses for 30+ years and often get my prescription in high end sunglasses. He just had no desire to do his job. I went next door to visionworks. No issue whatsoever. Don’t go here for glasses.

If ur going for an exam, beware. The exam is not done by Costco. A contacts exam cost $129 bucks. The DO was ok, the staff is young n very inexperienced!!

Total waste of time and money. I'm just glad I didn't get glasses there. Spent $100 on eye exam and for what. Is the prescription wrong are they didn't make the glasses correctly. All I know is that I made allowances because I haven't had an eye exam in a long time but the OD (kasdan) made me feel like I didn't know my own vision and I was holding things up. I've had eye exams before and to be cliche, this was unlike anything I experienced before. So when I left I felt that the prescription I got was probably not correct. Besides the eye exam he said several things that made me feel uncomfortable. But I went ahead and ordered some glasses and no surprise they were unusable. I can see better driving without them and that's the whole point. I bought these glasses to make driving safer but what I got made things worse. Before I left, the OD told me it would take a while for my vision to adjust but I tried that. Didn't work. Now I've wasted money on a prescription I'm not sure I can use and I'm still without any glasses for driving. Also what's with grabbing my driver's license. Before I even went in they insisted on grabbing my license. Why, and why did they get my age wrong on the prescription if they had my license. updated: Here's something that may be important. If the OD says something like it will take time for your eyes to adjust make sure you're clear what he means. Eye strain vs blurry vision are two different things. The prescription that I got was wrong and I ended up with glasses I couldn't use but I kept wearing them thinking they would clear up which they didn't. Long story but several weeks later I finally gave up and started over. Went to another OD, got the right prescription and glasses. But even after all that costco insists I can't get a refund on the orig glasses even though the prescription was wrong until I get the costco OD to admit it was wrong.
