By far the most fraudulent place I've ever visited. Have been going for years for regular eye checkups. No eye issues just yearly regular exams. Come to find out that they have been charging my insurance saying that I had cataracts and other issues that I was being treated for. Brought the insurance company in to deal with them and even the insurance company had opened investigation due to fraudulent charges. Funny how quickly the charges were changed / dropped after getting investigated by the insurance company. Be warned of this place and check often for what they are billing your insurance for as it is most likely some form of fraudulent activity.

Edit 11/17/2023. Changing from one star to three. I had an in office procedure done yesterday and the experience was much better. It was like night and day. The doctor was great, as always! I tried the on-line pre-registration and it seemed to work the way it should. Easy process and there was no paperwork or repeat questions when I arrived. The time in the waiting room was acceptable and the waiting time after being taken back to the procedure room very good. I don't know if I got lucky that day, or if they tried to do better because I had complained on here, or if they are trying to make improvements. Three things that I find most annoying at any doctor's office areare: 1. Filling out a bunch of paperwork in the office on forms that are poorly designed. 2. Long wait times after the scheduled appointment time. 3. Communication by phone with long phone tree messages, long hold times and you never seem to get to talk to the person you need. There are still some things CVP could do to improve. 1. They don't seem to use MyChart, which I find very convenient. I been to some doctors that even allow chat communication by MyChart and that is very nice. 2. Improve the phone messaging system. Cut back on the long initial message that wastes my time and seems to be designed to cut down on their work. I know they have to say the "If this is a medical emergency..." message but please get rid of the "Please listen carefully because some options have changed." 3. Try to schedule appointments with the patients in mind. I think everyone understands there can be an occasional delay, but when the delays happen more often than not, there is a problem. 11/11/2023. I like the doctor but the administration is very substandard. I thought this business would be OK because they seem to be affiliated with Kettering Health care. Wait times - Very poor. I've been there several times and the wait times are always 45 minutes to an hour. This reminds me of how big clinics operated in the 90's. Overbooking. No respect for patient's time. Now that people have the ability to share these experiences, many businesses have have been forced to treat patients with more respect. CVP is definitely not on par with most other clinics. They are way behind the times. Pre-Registration - They have an aggressive systems that sends multiple email, calls, and text reminders about appointments. The texts and emails encourage you to complete the pre-registration. I always like to do the pre-registration because I think it saves time for everyone at the clinic. The first time I went to CVP, I completed the pre-registration. These businesses can select what questions you have to complete. The better ones tailor the questions to what the doctor needs. Not CVP. They just make you answer all questions. When I went to the first appointment, the first person I saw, after a 45 minute wait time, was an assistant who sat at a computer and asked me many questions that were on the pre-registration. I asked her why she didn't just get the answers from the pre-registration. She told me they hadn't figured out how to connect the pre-registration to their system. In other words, the pre-registration is a complete waste of my time. however, they continue to send multiple texts and email before each appointment asking me to complete the pre-registration. I've been to legit clinics that do things right. When you complete the pre-registration, they skip all the nonsense. They also get you in on the scheduled time. I guess the bottom line is that I have a choice about who gets my healthcare money. I have really good insurance and I can go to anyplace I choose. You have a choice too. I am a customer!!! I don't have to accept this terrible service. I am just not going to give this place any more of my money. They don't respect my time so I will find a better vendor. I need cataract surgery and I was going to get it done through CVP. So, that's off. I've already had a substandard experience, why would I keep going back for more?
