Dr. Brill is an excellent optometrist, and I recommend him heartily. (I totally agree with Nathaniel that the masks are unscientific and ridiculous and mostly a political device; I also canceled my appointment when the masks were mandated there. But I also have experienced extreme irrational fear founded upon propaganda. About four years ago I fell into a panic when I thought that a drama director had irresponsibly put our daughter at grave risk of HIV; I behaved badly because I believed what Dr. Fauci and others told us about HIV during the 1980s; believing those misrepresentations, I concluded that my daughter was at grave risk of death. In the 1980s a friend told me her father, a surgeon, had retired early because he was concerned that he might contract HIV during a surgery. Now we understand that HIV is very much like covid: the "cures" have caused more harm than the diseases. The people dying of these are immune compromised or have other comorbidities. Propaganda can really produce fear that makes us behave irrationally.) I have been going to Dr. Brill for quite a few years now, and I think he is an excellent optometrist.

I've been going to Dr. Brill for over 30yrs. Hands down the best eye doctor in the Tampa Bay area bar NONE! Very meticulous and educates you on your options. Very very sharp mind and detailed oriented. I probably referred at least a dozen people to him over the years and they all feel the same!

Best Eye Dr!! Went to him when I was a self pay for years, when I got insurance he was not on my plan and I went to my usual run of the mill OD's. After 18yrs I never had eye exams like Dr. Brill does them. My vision was getting worse by the years and I felt I needed to go back to him. I am glad I did. He is writing a referral for my Primary care Dr to have my eves operated on (had some bleeding, Cataracts, and his state of the art equipment determined I did not have macular degeneration. A very caring and thorough Doctor. If you care about your eyesight (and I do at 75 years old) I recommend him.
