I just called to make an appointment and the person who answered was beyond rude. I happen to be in an office environment at the time of the call or i would have let her have it. I couldnt get a word in when she hit me with question after question... i almost didnt even make an appointment because her. But i will let her have it when i go in.

DO NOT USE THIS MD! He took my mother off of her glaucoma drops 3 years ago and now her eye pressure is dangerously high! Her new ophthalmologist prescribed Lumigam immediately!! David Sacks also sold Pure OTC eye drops for $18 per bottle which are sold online for $9.00!! At my mother's last appt she told him.that the PURE drops were hard to find and he said "I don't care what you use! Use whatever you want!". This so called doctor obviously does not care about his patients eye health! If you really care about your loved ones eyes DO NOT take them to David Sacks!!

Effective efficient helpful

Probably wouldn’t go back he told me that I have a condition where my one eye in a certain spot waters and only that spot he told me because he doesn’t see anything that it’s just in sensation. Also, he was very passive aggressive and not very friendly didn’t really greet you or say hi and what not we’ll definitely not be going back and we’ll be getting a second opinion.

Absolutely phenomenal! Olde school in ways, and Absolutely fantastic. Have have had him as our eye doctor for alot of years, recently had him prefom 2 cataract surgeries that were flawless. He's dobe several other minor surgeries on my eyes aswell, always professional, yet friendly.

I appreciated the tine Dr. Sacks took during our appointment yesterday. Spent a lot of time explaining everything to me. Also his reception and assistant was wonderful . Highly recommend his office.

Do not recommend it here. Place is very old and archaic and Dr Sacks was rude and poked my eye way to hard when applying dye (ive had this done before elsewhere) Was not caring and did nothing to help me . Had to go elsewhere for help.

Many, many patients have complained about Dr. Sack's receptionist who makes many, many mistakes and yet she still works there. Dr. Sacks himself is a good eye doctor (a no-nonsense kind of guy) but he relies on information provided by his receptionist and it can and does cause a nightmare. Thank God there is one woman who works there who does know what she is doing. Her name is Lupe. ONLY deal with Lupe or you will regret it if that other woman touches your file or insurance card. Perhaps if Dr. Sacks sees that his business is being adversely affected, he will do something about the receptionist's incompetence.

He was very rude and condescending. He treated me as though I was an inconvenience and not worth his time—which he only spent about 2 minutes looking at my eye and then dismissed me away. I had a lot of questions, but he tone and demeanor was very clear that any questions I had would not be well received. I would put one star, but I feel like people don’t take 1 star reviews seriously. I saw him a month ago, and I still feel offended by how condescending he was. It was a complete waste of time going to him—find a doctor who cares about people instead. Also, his office is old and dusty—for someone who is supposed to care about eye health, he should take better care of his office.

What a caring, warm and trustworthy MD! I’ve only been there one time, never having been to an ophthalmologist previously, but the entire staff there are friendly, easy going, and more like a family then co workers. I immediately felt more secure upon meeting with Dr. Sacks. He was thorough in his exam, asked the necessary questions, listened without rushing me, and gave me input on his findings and diagnosis. He provided me with options to resolve the acute issue, and agreed to take care of the chronic issue (I related) and informed me of the procedure he’d do, if I wasn’t able to resolve it using the strategy he instructed. He is the rare, non-managed care-like, pressured MDs who may mean well, but tend to respond to patients as they are walking out the door, to get to the patient scheduled for treatment not more than 10 mins. Apart. Highly recommend this doctor.

Excellent Dr. Took care of my eyes and did so very professionally. His staff is fast and efficient. It's nice to see clearly again. Want a good eye Dr. Go see Mr. Sacks. Thank you Doctor.
