Save yourself the trouble and find another eye doctor. Dr. Bachmann is a very nice, professional doctor, but his front office staff is not. Why I had to call to figure out when my appointment was is still a mystery to me. Apparently, calling to remind patients of their appointments is too big of a hassle and when you call, you just get an attitude and zero help. Judging by google reviews, it looks like you've already lost two patients in two weeks (that we know of). I've also recommended another current patient find another doctor as well, so, really, you've lost 3 patients in two weeks. Not good...

Very dissatisfied. Had an 8am appointment. Receptionist said I was late, although I was there when they opened the doors. I had to get someone to ring the buzzer to get receptionist to her desk. She told me she was sitting there the whole time. Grrrrr. I was there at 7:53am but until someone could wait on me it was almost 8:10am. She told me I was outside their 5 minute window. So my appointment was cancelled. My son had to rearrange his work schedule to take me to this appointment. Needless to say I won't be going back!

There are not enough words to express how grateful I am to Dr. Peets for giving me back my “Quality of Life”. My cataracts were getting so bad that I could barely see to walk & with my other health issues, I barely was leaving the house. I had my right eye done in September, and now my vision to see far away is 20/20 & in October, I had my left eye done in which we did the opposite because I have mono-vision, plus added a toric lens for my stigmatisms. I no longer have to wear glasses for distance or to read. It’s amazing! Dr. Peets goes beyond the call of duty explaining everything to you thoroughly & his bedside manner is excellent. His whole office staff are very professional. Sarah and Megan are the two that go around with him & are very educated about everything Dr. Peets does. They make you feel very confident and reassure you that he is an excellent surgeon. I was very nervous, but they made me feel so comfortable and it was the same way at the hospital (MVNorth), everyone went out of their way to make me comfortable on my two days of surgery. It went very quickly and I was able to take the patch off of my eye three hours after I got home each time and could see perfectly well the minute I removed the patch. It was truly awesome to be able to see that well that quickly after surgery. I would also like to pay compliments to Kami who is at the front desk and usually answers the phone. She always ends her calls saying it was “ her pleasure to help you.”< how nice is that! Then there’s Cathy who checks you in, and she is always very pleasant with a smile on her face. Also, Cierra, who was the one who measured my eyes prior to surgeries; she was very intelligent and knew what she was doing, plus answered the many questions I had. I don’t remember the others names in the office or any of them at the hospital except for the pre-admission testing nurse, who called me prior to surgery twice. Her name was Missi; she was very informative and very kind spoken, which made it a whole lot easier the day of surgery, both times. Kudos to all of you! I left the office the very first day I was there, actually looking forward to having the surgery because they were so positive and the with way they reassured me about everything. I felt that way before I even met Dr. Peets because of them and then upon meeting him, it solidified everything. Please forgive me if I forgot anyones names. I just can’t say enough about my experience having my cataracts removed. I would definitely recommend having it done to anyone. My whole life has changed & it’s awesome to be able to look outside & see the stripes on the squirrels & the birds. Everything is so bright & vivid. Thank you Dr. Peets for your kind bedside mannerism and everything you’ve done for me. God has given you a great gift with helping others, and you will truly be rewarded someday for all you do making a difference in other people’s lives. I’ve already started to recommend you to others and I hope a lot of people will read this review. I’ve talked to a lot of people about you and I was actually referred to you by several former patients of yours myself. I’ve never heard a bad word from anyone about you. Keep up the good work and please don’t retire anytime soon. You’re too young to retire anyway. 😊 God bless you and your staff, both at the office & at the hospital.
