They only get a 3 star because they been having me wait 2 months and now they canceling and making me wait 3 months just because the doctor doesn't want to see patients on Sat and I sister even request a Sat that's what they gave me. Getting checked out takes long but waiting for your next appointment takes even longer!!! Like how does the thing thats suppose to be quick takes the longest at an eye doctor! How ridiculous!

I went today to assist my grandma and this one white lady was super rude to me I was on the a very important phone call she had a hoorible attitude with me very unprofessional on her behave to practically scream at me and embarrass me like that I’d give this place zero stars if I could in all honesty idc if she was in a bad mood no need to take it out on me she was way too aggressive towards me is that how you treat people no absolutely nope will never be coming back again untill they speak with her personally on how you treat people 😒 it’s honestly sad they will clearly hire anyone

I had 2 chalazion surgeries performed here by Dr. Mayberry. Everything went well. Some staff are very nice and polite. Dr. Mayberry explained every step to me as she performed the surgery. Overall, great experience with them. It gets pretty busy sometimes, but you should be fine if you schedule an appointment in advanced.

I'm blind from my left eye, I can't see far or near sided, I got glacoma, and stigmatism. My last surgery got canceled and I got denied for disability. Mind you I been wearing the same prescription glasses and they never sent me to to get new ones nor did they care to get me glasses before either. I'm always getting brushed off and left in the dark. Must be cool working in an office. I do construction where everything is a hazard and every Conor hazards are waiting to happen. I'm glad they're shutting down. Horrible service and Dr. Is lazy.

Do NOT go here if you care about your eyes! My grandma came here and they did laser surgery and left her WORSE. Said her glucoma was gonna leave her blind and we went to get a second opinion and they said her vision is fine. Everyone in the waiting room talks about how surgery from this place leaves them worse. I am not joking please. Get referred somewhere else.

When you make the appointment, they ask for your information and when you think that everything is ready to attend the appointment, they call you and ask for more information than they could have asked you at the time of making the appointment. It is annoying because we are not in 1950 when everything was on paper. Now we have a lot of technology that instantly tells you the requirements that the patient needs.

Waited for a month for my schedule and ended up they just did an eye exam and not giving me prescriptions for eye glasses then gave me appointment for optometrist and have to wait 2 months cus that’s their latest. Wth i needed the glasses for dmv purposes and i have to wait this long? Receptionists were rude, cant even help me to call my pcp saying that their phone stop working, such a liar. Very poor service. No wonder they have really bad ratings.

The sidewalk was filthy, full of poop, and next to it stinked; they didn't clean it. It was so dirty; just outside the door there were empty medicine bottles and tents on either side. They should clean it up, it looks disgusting.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Terrible customer service. MY mother had an appointment and was 15 mins early. The receptionist asked her why she was there early since they had no intention of seeing her before her scheduled appointment. My mother said it was her first time there and she likely had to fill out paperwork not to be seen early. She was later turned away because despite me giving the clinic her insurance information twice and them verifying the insurance and referral over the phone prior to her appointment they couldn't see her because according to them my mom belonged to a different medical group not contracted with them. My mother has been seeing the provider who referred her for over 10 yrs they can't tell me that she has been seeing the wrong doctor and medical group for years, and the insurance continues to pay for visits. I called to complain and let them know they were wrong. The medical group approver for her to be seen at the clinic and the woman I spoke with rudely responded to me saying I was wrong and they don't verify insurance or referrals for first time patients which make no sense. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for 10 minutes for the manager not to answer and them later hang up on me. The worst of the worst! Called her insurance and they verified that my mother's medical group is the one who she has been seeing and The staff was wrong. Do not come to this place.

clinic is horrible even though the doctor had good reputation back in the day when I would take my mom it was a good clinic but with a new staff and the careless doctor now it's going downhill this service is horrible they give you an appointment and then you get there and then they tell you that your appointment was moved my mom to let her know her appointment was being moved or authorizations didn't go through and the staff is really rude like they don't want to work there I don't understand why people keep going to this doctor if the service is really bad I had my mom stopped going here because of the service was so bad if I could give a zero star I would

I highly recommend De La Pena Eye Clinic! The staff is EXCEPTIONAL! They greet you, they are well informed, knowledgeable, comforting, concerned about customer satisfaction. The Doctors and staff seem very concerned about our health, they take time to answer questions and they make sure each patient feels valued. Dr.Mayberry is AWESOME! She explains everything and she is very knowledgeable. I love this clinic! It’s clean, comfortable and you’ll love your experience here!

To have been my first time there They make you feel comfortable and right at home. My visit was super quick not much of a wait time.They are very friendly and have excellent costumer service. I recommend this eye clinic to the fullest.

I have been coming to this eye doctor since I was a kid and I now take my own. The process for new patient isn’t difficult and goes smoothly. I was able to schedule an appointment within a week and two weeks later my son has his glasses. The service was good and quick. But keep in mind that no location is ever perfect and there can be an occasional rude person who makes the clinic look bad.

Poor customer service skills. They should be able to confirm patients phone numbers when setting up appointments in case of cancellations or rescheduling. Even in person they couldn’t manage it. Wasted my time and now have to request another day off from work.

The service here is quite horrible. My mom went in for an eye surgery and so many things happened wrong. First, she was never sent with pain med prescription AFTER surgery and was in excruciating pain. Second, her eye got infected but the doctor insists it was fine. Anyway she put her on different meds which helped the infection; but takes forever to fill a prescription. She’s been a few weeks without. The secretary will relay the message but they are useless. And lastly, my mom missed a day of work because she thought she had an appointment only for them to tell her the authorization never went through. This clinic is so unprofessional and I feel like they take advantage of their patient population by constantly dropping the ball and not communicating effectively.

Everything was very good regarding my surgery. The only problem I had was my surgery was almost cancelled because I didn't bring someone I knew with me to accompany me. I had a ride share but since he wasn't a friend or family member I had to get find somebody last minute who was or my surgery wouldn't of gotten cancelled. Luckily I was able to reach someone and I had my surgery. I don't think that was made to clear to me to bring someone I knew with me. Thank you

BAD. This place is not at all good the receptionist are very rude and have a bad attitude. When I got my glasses there it was fine but 6 months later they were all scratched . I've had glasses before and I had them for more than a year and they were in good condition but these ones were bad condition and still the lady says oh well they're the best quality glasses when in reality there probably the worst quality glasses I've ever had .every one that works there is rude and has an attitude. The place is small and looks dirty atmosphere is bad the place overall does not give good vibes and the quality is bad will not go again and I am going to go to a different eye clinic place because this place is not worth going to !!! DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!!
