Always a wait, staff could cares less about the Veterans they serve. VA service is a joke, all you do is give the Government a second chance to kill you by using the benefits.

I brought my grandfather here for his yearly eye exam. The staff has been so nice and patient with him. I was not impressed while we were waiting to hear other staff complaining so loudly that they hate their job. The staff needs to talk about that else where. Patients should not hear how much you hate your job. Especially when the patient is expecting the upmost and best care.

Wow, super friendly and professional. The most complete eye exam and explanation I have ever had. All my questions answered and the team made sure I received follow up care.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize the outstanding care I've received from the VA Optical Shop. Sheila has been absolutely incredible. I have a very difficult prescription, and she has always gone above and beyond to help me navigate new frames, lenses, and changing styles. She is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about getting things right. I'll be honest—I know I haven't always been the easiest customer. Like many veterans, I can get frustrated, especially when delays are outside anyone's control. Even then, Sheila has always treated me with kindness, professionalism, and respect. That says a lot about her character. I know most people are quick to leave reviews when something goes wrong, but I wanted to leave one because my experiences have consistently been excellent. I've never had a poor experience with the Optical Shop. I also want to recognize my eye doctor, who has been equally outstanding. The care, professionalism, and dedication I've received from both the doctor and the optical staff have been first-class. Please pass along my appreciation to everyone involved. Employees like Sheila and the rest of the team make the VA a better place, and I hope they receive the recognition they deserve for the work they do every day. Thank you for taking care of us veterans.
