Updated review. I was referred to Optometry recently. After being fussed at regarding my insurance they finally scheduled me an appointment. I was given a new prescription and shortly after I got new glasses, although not ordered through them but with the prescription they gave me, I began having all day lasting headaches. I went to my regular doctor and they referred me to neurology. I had an idea that perhaps my new prescription was the cause of it so I removed my new glasses and went back to my old prescription and the headaches immediately stopped. I called to find out if they would recheck my prescription and they said they could but it wouldn't be covered by my insurance and I would be paying out of pocket. Extremely disappointed that they wouldn't check the prescription that they gave me. Would definitely not go back here. I can't possibly say enough good things about this practice, especially Dr. Annika! She and her team make going to the eye doctor the best experience for my two young children! They absolutely loved going to see her and it's never a scary experience. The front desk staff is the absolute best. They never hesitate to assist us with a broken pair of glasses or any other need we might have! I highly recommend Door County Eye Associates!
