Terribly Disrespectful about a $30 Copay that I explained wasn't owed but paid because of the way the Girl acted & treated me. The Insurance Company has called them to resolve the situation, however they have Not Responded or sent a Claim to the Insurance Company, it's been Three Weeks since my Appointment. This was my First & Last Appointment @ Dormont Vision. It's ALL about the Money with them the worst part being Money they were Not owed in the first place. Please go anywhere else! I found out after Writing this Review that the reason I was supposedly Charged a Copay is because I have Cataracts. I do Not have Cataracts & IF I did it certainly wasn't mentioned to me by Dr. S. I told them that I will Appeal the Claim once it's submitted. In the meantime, I intend to go to another Dr to be able to prove that I do Not have Cataracts. I did Not even have my Eyes Dilated, it was a simple as could be of an Eye Exam.
Be very Cautious these People are only out for the Money, yours & the Insurance Companies. Keep Notes IF you choose to go to Dormont Vision & know what your Responsibility is going to be up front & check any Claims that they Submit to Insurance for accuracy. Then File a Grievance & Appeal any egregious Claims & Charges.
Finally Refunded $30 that they were Never Entitled to on 6/30/2023.

What amazing people! I was having a bit of an emergency and they let come in and get checked out even though they were closing in an hour. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The doctor noted something concerning and insisted that I go right to the ER and it is a very good thing that I did. Not only did he save my vision with his insistence to go to the ER, but I also received a call from the office a few days later checking in on me to see if I was okay and what happened. I would give them a million stars if I could for their kindness!

Everyone was really nice. However, I was given concerning information at my first appointment and they suggested I come back in a week. When I came back, everything I was originally told, was downplayed and that they'd see me next year.
I initially went for a routine eye exam (last one was a few years ago)and new glasses (partially because they are broken)
I was told my insurance pays $100, but my lenses alone would be $500. Since I didn't have the money, I didn't get my glasses. Confused about the whole thing. I feel like I got played for the appointments/insurance payment. I did get my prescription in writing, so I guess that's to be thankful for.
