Douglas Rhee, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist who joined University Hospitals Eye Institute in 2013 as chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. He cares for adult and childhood glaucomas, with clinical research interests in traditional and novel surgical outcomes. He was among the first five surgeons worldwide to perform the Trabectome procedure and previously served as an associate professor at Harvard Medical School.
