Dr. McGowin has been wonderful. She has a great "bedside manner". She explained all of the risks and benefits of the surgery in easy to understand terms. She answered all of my questions both pre-op and post-op. The process was very easy. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering cataract surgery.

Dr. McGowin and her staff are excellent to work with. An accomplish physician, she and her staff work to make you feel comfortable and secure with your surgery.

For ANYONE looking for an ophthalmologist who specializes in IOL implants for astigmatism Dr. McGowin is THE person to go to. She and her staff, (Lauren that means you!) were amazing!!! Everyone from the front desk personnel to the young lady who did all the preliminary tests were very welcoming and polite!! I am a very detail oriented person, and because I worked with a cataract ophthalmologist in my younger years (Retired now) I really noticed the depth Dr. McGowin explained the pros and cons of the new IOL implants. I also noticed all the updated machinery used to take retinal photos and corneal scans which was really amazing!! It was refreshing to interact with both Dr. McGowin and Lauren. I am actually looking forward to my cataract surgery.

I have been a patient of Dr. McGowin for over 10 years. She stays up to date on the latest medical approaches, medicines, lenses, and surgical possibilities. She performed cataract surgery and utilized new lens options which gave me back both my close-up and long distance vision. I highly recommend her.

My honey had his 1st cataract removed May 26th. Dr. Mcgowin and her entire surgical team did an amazing job! A special thank you goes out to Tracy in the scheduling department in her office for many reasons! He now can read words on the television he could not read WITH his glasses. We can’t wait to get the cataract removed from the other eye. It is a painless surgery…which seems to be a oxymoron! Thanks again!!

Dr. McGowin is the best. She’s always willing to see me. I’ve had at least two unusual incidents with my eyes and she fixed me right up.

She is the most caring, compassionate Dr I ever seen . She is very knowledgeable of her profession, she has a calm way that she instills in her patients. You'll never find a better Doctor or person

I have recommended her to several people needing such care. Besides, she is one of the nicest, kindest and most genuine people you will every meet!!
