Dr. Schroeder is a highly skilled professional who did a phenomenal job with my cataract surgery. No pain, quick recovery, and excellent results with my vision.

Dr. Schroeder was 100% a breath of fresh air! She was so personable, attentive, informative and just all around an amazing Doctor. My husband had an accident with a weed eater and (we believe) a piece of metal unfortunately flew up and went through his eyeball. We took him to the emergency room where the nurse told us she was going to have call the optometrist to take a look. Within 10 minutes Dr. Schroeder was in our room taking such great care of him. She ended up doing surgery in his eye the same day. After surgery was over she personally called me and updated me on how it went, how to take care of him, and what to expect next. The next day she literally made room to see him during her busy day, even after hours. She was just all around amazing. I would highly recommend her to ANYONE in need of eye care!

As a Caregiver to my late-father, I got to see Dr. Barbara Schroeder take care of him when he needed his cataracts taken care of. She came into the Ft. Wayne VA Hospital to do his surgery & I took him to a couple follow ups at her office afterward. He really liked how she did both of his cataract surgeries and she was great with him during his follow ups. Am recommending my mom go see her to check out her cataracts too.
