I went there to see Boonie Woo and I can tell she is not a caring doctor. She does not have patient and got horrible attitude. My Dad asked a simple eye related question and she simply respond with "no" and didn't even offer any explanation nor suggestions. Horrible experience.

I was referred to see Dr. Bonnie Woo back in year 2016 by the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center after a black line appeared on my left eye one day.
I highly recommend Dr. Bonnie Woo because she was the "only" ophthalmologist, who was willing to take the "high risk" to replace the lenses on both of my eyes.
My right eye's cataract was at stage 4, and my left eye's cataract was at stage 2. No ophthalmologists were willing to take the "high risk" to operate on both of my eyes after I had been wearing many pairs of very thick eye glasses for 50+ years, except Dr. Bonnie Woo, who was very patient to explain in details about the poor condition of both of my eyes before and after the surgeries.
After the cataract surgery of my right eye on 11/20/2017 and the cataract surgery of my left eye on 1/29/2018, I have been able to read without wearing any thick eye glasses anymore.
I continue to see Dr. Bonnie Woo every six months for checkups. As always, Dr. Bonnie Woo is very attentive and answers whatever questions that I have in details.

I think Dr. Bonnie Woo used to be A caring and patient doctor, but not any more. She treated my mom like little kid without any respect. And she didn't provide good solution to her problem. You just don't feel she care about patient's pain. I wish she can pbecome A good doc again.
