Today I visited Dr. Curtis Manning at Eye Care Associates of Nevada in Sparks after experiencing a sudden and complete loss of vision in my left eye. Referred by the Renown hospital, I anticipated a thorough examination and clear guidance on managing this alarming condition. Unfortunately, my experience was far from reassuring. Dr. Manning conducted the examination without providing any explanation of his findings. When I inquired about the cause of my vision loss and potential treatment options, his only advice was to monitor my blood pressure. Given the severity of my symptoms, this minimal guidance left me feeling anxious and uninformed. Throughout the appointment, Dr. Manning’s demeanor was impersonal, making me feel like just another number in line rather than a patient in need of care. This lack of communication and empathy during such a distressing experience was deeply disappointing. I hope that Dr. Manning and his practice will consider improving their patient communication and providing more comprehensive care in the future.

Dr. Manning restored my vision to 20/15 and my world of vivid colors has given me such joy. He also kept me safer with the special precautions used to minimize my exposure to any diseases. I had a liver transplant and cancer. I am very cautious because my immune system is suppressed and I am at risk when I am in close proximity to people who are sick. Thank you for your attention to my special needs Dr Manning. I would highly recommend you for your professionalism and great work!
