I wish to give a huge shout out to Dr. Tartak and her attentive staff. She has helped me two times...once for lasik and the other saving my life diagnosing me with having a stroke. Dr. Tartak took extra time to give me the attention like no other Doctor would. As for my lasik... I was desperate since I could no longer drive at night. Dr. Tartak treated me with the latest state-of-the art technology, my vision improved greatly both distance and for reading needless to say, I was and I am still amazed! Thank you Dr. Tartak for the incredible gift to experience perfect vision once again. I will be forever grateful to you.

Most definitely NEVER considered this office, in my opinion Tartak MD shouldn’t be allowed to practice AT ALL. They know how to play the game, ignore your concerns, no improvement after vision surgery with her, not to mention I got surgery one day & came back for the other eye the very next day. Won’t even be able to sue after being ran thousands of dollars by her, by since you sign papers from the beginning. Her MOTHER the ugly old lady in the reception is a weirdo just like her daughter ( Tartak )

I am a patient of Dr. Tartak. One of my coworkers insisted I got to Dr. Tartak after he had his surgery with her. I had growths on both my eyes which would get red and itchy and bother me all the time. Dr. Tartak explained my case to me and how she could remove these pterygiums from my eyes. Her advanced technique uses a membrane graft over the pterygium removal to help healing and prevent the growth from returning. Dr Tartak fixed both my eyes and my eyes are like brand new. The surgeries were fast and pain free. I was able to return to work shortly after my operations. The staff and other doctors are also very friendly and helpful. Thank you Dr Tartak!!

I am incredibly happy with my vision after having surgery with Dr. Tartak. I have an eye disease known as Keratoconus and suffered from years of wearing hard contact lenses and having them repeatedly fall out. I saw several doctors who told me I needed Intacs surgery. I started researching doctors who did this type of surgery and noticed that Dr. Tartak was one of the most respected experts in the nation. From the moment I met her I knew I was in the right hands. She has done more cases than any of the other doctors combined. Dr. Tartak is not only a great surgeon, but is warm and compassionate. The surgery was a breeze. I didn’t feel any discomfort during or after the surgery. I am now 20/20 without the need for glasses or contacts. I cannot thank her enough. Dr. Tartak has given me my life back. It has been over a year since I had my Intacs surgery and my vision is better than I can ever remember. I highly recommend anyone who has Keratoconus to have the Intacs surgery with her.

They're only interested in money, and their prices are outrageous. They sell everything, even the smallest samples. They want money for everything. And they charge a fortune. Before the surgery, they quote a huge price, and for just one eye, they wanted $580. I don't recommend them at all.

I had cataracts on both eyes and at 47 i was very close to losing all sight. After consultations in several different places after my first consultation here i was convinced that this was the ideal place for me. The customer service ia great and the Dr treated me amazing just like all the staff. After my operation the clarity was instant. I was finally able to see my daughter's face after so many years. Recuperation was very fast and the post-op customer service was just as great. Highly recommend it to anyone suffering from any vision problems

I want to thank Dr. Tartak and her attentive staff. My vision was very, very, very bad. I live in Alaska and am an artist. My vision was affecting my work as I was unable to see up close. As my vision worsened I could not see far away either. Dr. Tartak took extra time to perform an extensive diagnosis of my eyes with a countless array of instruments that no other doctor's office had ever utilized for me in the past. She then diagnosed me with a type of cataract that other doctors had missed for years and now I understand why. These same doctors also told me that no eye surgery or eye treatment was possible to improve my vision. I was desperate since I could no longer drive at night. I've been wearing glasses for over 20 years up until a family member recommended Dr. Tartak and her state of the art LASIK machines. Note to those that are thinking about LASIK that your eyes are mostly in the hands of the technology and the machines not in someone's actual hands. The benefits were explained to me as well as the risks, I was told I was a perfect candidate and so far it's been one of the better choices in my life. I had only dreamed of getting 20/20 vision. And some of the reviews below are troll yelpers that I have seen before so beware of their reviews it seems to be the new thing on Yelp, people getting paid or encouraged to write bad reviews and undermine business. Should go to health grades or anywhere else for reviews on doctors anyways.

About 2 months ago I decided to get Lasik and I definitely don’t regret it. The hassle of dealing with glasses / contacts is one less stress in my life that I don’t need. Terrible customer service specially this lady Sylvia trust me she does not make you feel like family. Don't take me wrong the Doctors are great I take my family member here and we love the Doctor however, not the customer service. This lady Sylvia is so rude on the phone and in person her attitude towards people is horrible. She murmurs things about other patients in front of other people in the waiting room, what happened to HIPPA here? Also if you have an appointment on a certain day she calls you the day before and asks you to go right that moment like if the patients are at her disposition when she wants. That's why appointments are for to go in on a certain day and time. I bet if I go in and the doctor is not there she is not going to leave what she's doing to come see me.... hello!!! Another thing, they book your appointment at an specific time and you are seen 4 hours later the waiting it's insane. Plan on spending your whole day here if you are considering this place. Basically this review is for this rude lady Sylvia she has no respect and no professionalism at all. Not even because she is older she should be respectful and care for the patients not talk back and treat them like nothing. That's what the health care path is for to care, treat and help patients however, this lady does not seem to know any of this. She does not deserve to wear a health care uniform at all.

A couple of years ago I began having problems with my vision. I had to use glasses which was very uncomfortable and Day by day my vision was still getting worse. My husband made an appointment for an eye exam with Dr. Tartak. I was a candidate and made the choice for lens replacement surgery on my left eye. I recently had my lasik eye surgery with Doctor Tartak and before my surgery I cleared all the doubts I feared and she very clearly answered me nice and easy, so definitely I recommend Doctor Tartak 100% If you can spend your money on your eyes, now my vision is 20 /20 and without any retouching. I went to Dr. Tartak on a referral from a friend that had no cut lasik surgery there and was very happy with their results. I had a very high prescription and am nearsighted. I had a visian lens imlpant on my right eye and no cut lasik on my left eye. I have noticed a huge improvement in my vision and very happy to no longer need glasses or contacts. My vision is perfect and I am very thankful for Dr. Tartak. I highly recommend Dr. Tartak for any of your vision needs. Their prices are competitive and they provide excellent service. The entire staff is also bilingual and speaks Spanish.

Since I was a little boy I had trouble seeing. I would feel embarrassed asking people what the road signs said. I was told I was going to be blind so I just gave up and struggled with my eye sight. I heard about Dr. Tartak from several people and made myself an appointment. I have a condition called keratoconus and my eyesight was getting progressively worse. Dr. Tartak explained my condition and the process to fix my eyesight with Intacs implants. Other doctors had told me my eyes were not fixable. I signed up right away and had my surgery done. Dr. Tartak,s clinic has earned the distinction as a Center of Excellence for Intacs surgery. My surgery was quick and painless. I feel as though I have been freed and a black cloud lifted. I can now see every road sign and even enjoy the beautiful ness of the city while I am driving. Dr. Tartak changed my life , this has truly been a miracle for me. I would never trust my eyes to anyone else but her.

Had my first Lasik Eye Surgery completed here 9 years ago and my second 3 weeks ago and can say that I am totally impressed as I was for my first surgery. Everyone was so nice and helpful, and explained everything from beginning to end of what was going to take place. I am 37 years old and went to Dr. Tartak's to be evaluated for lasik. I was 20/100 and have worn glasses since grade school. The staff was friendly and efficient. I was a candidate for no cut lasek. I had the lasek surgery done and am now 20/13 with both eyes. I am extremely happy, this changed my life! I highly recommend Dr. Tartak! She is the best!! I have sent many friends there to have lasik and they are all very happy!

DISASTER 8 months ago i went in to get cataract surgery, Dr. Tartak promised me 20/ 20 vision. Problems started the next day (after the surgery) my vision didn't improve in fact it worsend, I had very blurry vision and migraine like pain. I've went back to the clinic at least twice a month since the surgery if not more. Most times when I've went down to the clinic, Dr. Tartak has refused to see me or has argued that my vision has improved. It has been 8 months, I've asked her multiple to fix the problem or send me or send me to someone capable of fixing the problems she created. During my weekly checkups I have met and overheard people with similar problems. I have not seen any improvements in my vision and Dr. Tartak doesn't want to continue treating me.
