Doctor Boyer has saved my eyesight! Years ago, he placed me in a clinical trial that improved my vision to the point where frequent Eylea injections can maintain that vision. At every visit, his staff takes the necessary photographs of my retina and Dr. Boyer carefully evaluates exactly what is happening in each eye. Dr. Boyer administers the necessary Eylea shot(s) and determines the best date for the next treatment and evaluation. Dr. Boyer is not only brilliant and an international expert in retina problems, but he also cares about each patient.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Boyer for nearly 10 years. He was referred to me as being the best in his field, which I believe to be true. Since I am basically a one-sighted patient, I wanted the best care I could get, for my particular eye issue. He always.spent quality time answering any and all of my questions and educating me along the way. I could not recommend him highly enough. You’re in good hands with Dr. Boyer. He’s professional, caring, and just a really nice person.

Over the past several years, Dr. Boyer has been almost single-handedly saved me from going blind. Severely detached retinas in both eyes, one eye worked on several times to keep it functioning and stable. He has attended me to me at all hours, scheduling and performing my first surgery close to midnight after our initial meeting late that afternoon. He scheduled post surgery visits with me after hours, on weekends, and on one Father’s Day. His demeanor, wisdom, and skill have been a welcome, hopeful, and much needed respite in the face of often terrifying possibilities. He has given me years of traveling and experiencing the world, making new friends, and welcoming new family members. I can never thank him enough, nor recommend him more highly.
