Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Associates provides specialty-level children's eye care and treats adult eye muscle disorders (strabismus). Services include pediatric ophthalmology and surgery performed at Hasbro Children's Hospital. It has two offices, one in Providence and one in East Greenwich, each with a full-service optical shop for children's eyewear.

The practice opened in 1993 and was the first in Rhode Island devoted to pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. Its doctors, including Robbins Tien, Tineke Chan, and Michael Langue, have post-residency training in children's eye diseases and adult strabismus. All lenses use shatter-proof polycarbonate.

Dr. Tien is excellent with my daughter. She has special needs, but he always finds ways to conduct her exams while keeping her calm. The office staff is very helpful, too.

Dr Tien and the technician were very nice and helpful during our appointment. I felt bad for the staff because there were very rambunctious kids and very rude parents there when I was and they handled it well.

Dr. Tien was so friendly and great with my 13 month old! I also loved the nurse there and the receptionist was amazing. I am so happy I found this place!!
