There are no longer many doctors like Dr Delia Sang. Not only did she give me her cell phone number to call in case of a concern, but she answered my call at 10:30 PM on a Friday night. When I apologized for calling so late she said it’s fine, asked my symptoms , told me what to do, and offered to open the office for me the next morning. She had to change her plans and spent two hours with me. I mentioned that I had expected her to just send me to Mass Eye and Ear. She seemed surprised and explained she is here yo take care of me.. I will be seeing her in 2 days for further evaluation She is just the Best and I thought that even before this over-the - top attention!Every time I have been there the technicians and people who answer the phone are wonderful and kind. Monica, especially, has been responsive and empathetic

The doctor is great. Dr. Sang is an exceptional doctor. The front desk staff though are terrible. They are ok as long as everything is done before. If you have the slightest problem with your insurance they lose it! All other offices are ok with paying cash but this new office manager doesn’t know how to work with the software unless you have insurance. I have seen them arguing with patients about insurance many times and one time they were about to turn me away. I clearly remember the office manager telling me “as long as your vision is ok you don’t have to come in!!!!” That is not true. There are many ophthalmologic problems without visual problems. Then they go and gossip about you to the doctor and tell lies. That is a major problem. Dr. Sang told me I didn’t need to see her anymore. I have a feeling that was because of the problem with the rude and unprofessional office manager. It was the office manager who yelled at me because I JUST ASKED whether I could pay cash IN CASE there was a problem with my insurance. The office manager got her way and I was dismissed. It is really sad. Other than that the doctor is the best one in the world.

I have been under the care of Dr. Sang for about 20 years and have recommended her to others who are also impressed with her care. She is exactly. what you would hope a doctor would be: brilliant, thorough, knowledgeable, and current. Do not hesitate to make her your physician.
