My experience at this office was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome and treated differently. The communication and customer service were abrupt, and when we asked questions, it seemed as though we were inconveniencing both the doctor and the receptionist. What was especially concerning was the lack of eye contact and basic courtesy in a setting where patient care and trust should be a priority. While the doctor may be highly educated, professionalism, compassion, and respect are equally important qualities in healthcare. Racism and prejudice can come in many forms and from any background. Whether intentional or not, the treatment we received left us feeling dismissed and disrespected. I sincerely hope this practice reflects on how patients are treated moving forward. I will continue to pray for those involved, because Jesus saw the value in every person regardless of race, language, or appearance. Education means little if it is not accompanied by kindness, empathy, and integrity.
