Gal who checked me in was very nice. Vanessa was her name. The doctor was good but seemed rushed at the end, however I would come back again. The gal who helped us pick out our glasses was great! She worked hard to help me get a pair of frames I liked. Her name was Aimee (or something like that). The store needs to offer water to the customers. The whole experience took a long time and there was no water. I got very dehydrated. Great selection of frames. Overall good experience.

I told them in advance we weren’t interested in contacts. I asked that a note be put in the file so the doctor didn’t talk about contacts The doctor started taking about contacts -land I asked if she saw the note. She said she did but she still offered my child contacts, saying this is “my patient” and she wants to offer that to her. A 14 year old does not know what is best. My child is irresponsible. Doesn’t even brush her teeth! The doctor wasted an hour of my time with contacts; put them in her eyes against my wishes and then my child was crying because she couldn’t get them out. I even took the doctor aside to discuss this and she was defiant and rigid. This doctor acted unprofessional and my child and I left there TWO HOURS LATER with my child crying. It was a bad experience and I’m SO angry about it. I did talk to the front desk anout this but the doctor defended her position, saying she saw the note but at least the child now knows she doesn’t want contacts! In 2 years I would like for my child to consider contacts when she is more mature but now she has been traumatized. This doctor is knowledgeable but has some personality issue where she is too rigid and defiant. She should be fired. I’m so angry and for an hour AFTER we left, my child was crying. She even said she felt pressured into trying contacts!

The doctor was great: very warm and personable, willing to EXPLAIN all she did, clear and comprehensive on her answers. She gave a a comprehensive exam, was obviously good at what she did, and helped me understand what I need done to improve my eyesight health.
