One year ago I had my right cataract removed and developed Iritis. Iritis is an infection in the Iris (colored part of eye). I did not like Dr. Carter's bedside manner. Three weeks later I was supposed to have my left cataract removed. I fell 3 times trying to get in the van provided by Dr. Carter. The driver did not assist me or have a stool. The fire department helped me get into the van. After I arrived at the surgical center, I realized I was too dizzy and had an awful headache. Since I have been a nurse for 47 years, I told the staff I had reservations about having the cataract removed that day. Dr. Carter never came to assess me. To appease me, the marketer took me home in a car. 3 days later, my MD found a blood clot in my right leg. Although Dr. Carter's staff were told about the clot, Dr. Carter NEVER called me. I will never go back to see him. I informed many people about what occurred. Because of the questionable procedure, I now have to have another procedure on my right eye.
