Never cared for the optometrist although I kept going because I like dealing with Costco. It's convenient. Staff is not friendly, can never get ahold of them, they don't follow their own hours that are posted so if you show up towards the last hour they are open there's a good chance they're already gone, they don't make it easy to work with them. Finally switched, wondering why I didn't do it sooner. Wouldn't recommend.

Dr Ryskamp is one of the very best eye doctors I have been to. She is very very thorough and spends as much time as needed. I highly recommend her. I have been a patient for about 5 years.

I will never use this optometrist office again. My wife scheduled an appointment for herself and 2 of our kids. The guy who checked us in was incredibly rude and a real piece of work. I then remembered my experience with him 4 years ago. My mom was dying from ALS and this was her optometrist. She was in hospice care, could not talk and was confined to her bed because she could no longer walk. The ALS clinic came out to set up a TOBII Eye Tracking Machine which would allow her to communicate by looking at words/letters on a screen and it would track her eyes. My mom had trifocals which were interfering with the TOBII, I called them up to see if they could write a script for a single focal plane lens for computer distance. They refused to help me out even though they had been her optometrist. They wanted me to bring her in to give her an eye exam even though she could not move or talk. She had weeks to live and I explained the situation to him. He would not even hear me out. I guess they wanted another 60 dollars. We will never go back. The optometrist may be competent, but the staff made it a horrible experience(I believe his name is Steve). The Costco Eyeglass department was very helpful despite the optometrist office staff.
