Great Dr. Long wait times at times, very patient with my child each time, she did her surgery when she was around 3 from being pushed down and causing her eye to turn in. Only negative thing I can say is put of the blue I call to look into her appointment and was notified that she no longer accepts her insurance. So my now 9 year old who has been seeing her since 1 can no longer be seen and I have to locate another Dr. That she is comfortable with and go over all the history and pray they can do the surgery she was supposed to have when she is older or if ever needed. 😔 I hate this for our family and other families in this position because she also did my nephew and nieces surgeries he is autistic and his mother has passed its heartbreaking. Such a great, friendly, professional place, from staff,to Dr Calderwood

Glad I looked at the subject of the reviews of this doctor instead of going off of the numbers of stars. I saw that the negative reviews were about insurance and wait times. We did experience a wait BUT this wait was due to having to do the dilation and wait 45 minutes for it to take full effect. We found Dr Calderwood to be very caring, knowledgeable and conservative in her approach. Visit was not rushed nor were any of our questions not answered fully. The bad thing about Google reviews is any medical practice cannot fully respond due to privacy issues so I’m glad we took the reviews and did our own research and saw Dr Calderwood. Her staff was pleasant and was comforting. We will be back and will encourage anyone needing a specialized eye care to do that same. To the ones saying they will go to Nahsville, I would reconsider as the doctor there was deadset on surgery to which no other doctor has agreed. It’s all about perspective I guess but I can say we were treated with kindness and respect with each person we came in contact with there.

My optometrist could not find the problem with ongoing blurred vision after cataract surgery. It only took one test with this office. She treats adults as well as children. I now have my vision restored.
