Dr. Malhotra came highly recommended to us after failing to find an eye therapist who really worked closely with the patient, instead of using glasses, computers, or a group visual therapy session. One of the reviews called her the "Nordstroms" of eye therapists because of her one-on-one approach and attention to little details in each person. Since visual processing disorders runs in my family, she worked with a couple of my kids and found approaches to keep the work fun and relatable. When we did the daily homework, some of them were able to finish quickly while others tended to take a lot longer. Unfortunately, visual processing disorders makes it easier to get concussions because of hand-eye coordination, so one of my children had to keep coming back for tune-ups after each concussion. When the visual therapy started to click, I saw astounding differences in reading, writing, and sports - and behavior. Dr. Malhotra also gives the most thorough eye exams I've ever experienced and is able to do the visual testing in order to get accommodations for the SAT or school. Most importantly, Dr. Malhotra is exceedingly kind and gentle. She knows how to make the kids (and adults) feel empowered and cared for. She truly goes out of her way to help. One time she answered my emergency text when she was in the Grand Canyon on vacation!! I am grateful for her professional dedication to her patients and the kindness that she has shown our family in so many ways.

Dr. Malhotra has had an enormous positive impact on my 9 year old daughter’s vision and overall confidence. That sounds dramatic, I know, but it’s absolutely true! My daughter has been struggling to read and falling behind in all subjects at school for years, feeling stupid and embarrassed. Since Dr. Malhotra diagnosed my daughter with convergence insufficiency and started vision therapy, we have seen a huge improvement in her reading, performance in school and overall confidence. Dr. Malhotra was wonderful one-on-one with my daughter in visual testing and therapy sessions. She was also amazing in explaining everything to me and how we could support efforts at home. She was also incredible in helping me get everything covered through our medical insurance. I cannot overstate how appreciative our whole family is. Dr. Malhotra is amazing! Highly recommend!!

I went to Dr. Malhotra for eye therapy. I did sessions with her for 8 months. I did not feel like my eyes were improving at all. She did not do reevaluations (claiming she would have to retest everything which would take an hour and a half). The sessions are only a half hour and are extremely expensive. My other currently physical therapist reevaluates me every two months and writes notes through out the whole session. Dr. Malhotra didn't do any of those things. She seemed very unprofessional.
