Dr. Oku has been caring for my eyes for over five years. She always takes her time and explains everything in detail from options/glasses vs. contacts, etc. I find the staff to be very kind and friendly and getting an appointment is easy. And if they don’t have a frame that you want in stock, they’re always willing to order. Highly recommended.

I have been going to see Dr. Mark Williams for years. Every time I go, I’m given excellent service and always learn something new about my eyes. The staff there are pleasant and knowledgeable.

I’ve been going to Dr. Oku for close to 20 years. Always thorough and friendly. Staff is helpful with any billing/insurance questions. I lived in NC for over 15 years and never found an optometrist who matched up to Dr. Oku. Finally gave up and made sure to schedule appointments with her when visiting family in LA.

This office is super cute. Staff is friendly and timely, Dr. Oku is awesome! They have a decent selection of frames to try on for men and women. My only suggestion would be to maybe add a few designer frames to try on? Been coming here for years and years and plan to continue.

My client had an appointment here and they have very friendly staff but the only downside is that it is very hard to find parking

I've gone here for years and found both Dr. Williams and Dr. Oku to be smart and personable. Their staff is friendly, they offer weekend and evening hours. I am so happy with this office, i'll never need to change eye doctors.

Great experience Have been a patient for years

I have a complex vision issue that Dr Oku helped me with. About 13 years ago I suffered a retinal detachment in my right eye. It was treated with a scleral buckle requiring prism lenses to compensate for the alignment change caused by the buckle. As time passed, I developed cataracts which required minor periodic prescription adjustments. Dr Oku had been providing these adjustments without issue for the last 3 years – until I moved out of state. This year I had cataract surgery on the right eye, and that’s when the problem began. While the cataract surgery itself went well, neither of the local optometrists nor an ortho-ophthalmologist I have seen since has been able to prescribe corrective lenses that work for me. Desperate for a workable solution, I contacted Dr Oku for advice on what to do next. Because I am three time-zones away, I couldn’t expect much -- perhaps a referral or some reference information. I got much, much more. Dr Oku spent considerable time on the phone and via email assessing my difficult situation and working to find a solution—which she did find. Thanks to her extraordinary efforts, my vision is restored. I now have both distance and reading glasses that give me crisp vision and are comfortable to wear. From 2,500 miles away, she was able to do what the local experts could (or would) not do. The fact that she was willing to work so hard on my behalf is a testimony to her commitment to her patients. I am extremely grateful for her help and wish all my doctors could show that level of commitment.

We have been going to Dr. Oku for years she is a very friendly, attentive , caring and knowledgeable Optometrist . Her staff Ginger and Madison are extremely informative and helpful with all the brands and style choices of eye ware. Additionally the staff is very organized and we are always seen right on time, no waiting. Thank you ladies for being so efficient and professional .

Great optometrist. Friendly prompt service. The staff are always so attentive. For some reason, the pricing here is always less than other stores for the same items. I'll go back again next year to get more glasses with my insurance program.

Dr. Oku is the best! With my childhood optometrist, I’d have to wait up to an hour to be seen. When I see Dr. Oku, I’m ushered into the back right away. She is friendly and personable and I trust her 100% with my eyeballs. …

Dr. Oku is great. I moved out of the area and tried two new eye doctors near me but was disappointed. So now I’m back to driving an hour and a half to see Dr. Oku! Totally worth it :)

Dr. Williams is the best you can find. I found him through my parents who use him. I brought my husband to Dr. Williams and even he said that Dr. Williams did more examinations and really took the time to help him more than any of the other 3 optometrists he's seen. I personally like him because he cares about his patients and helps me understand how to better take care of my eyes. Diane is also a doll, who helped me find the cutest pair of glasses (and also the most comfortable pair) I've had. Thanks to Dr. Williams and his staff! Two thumbs up!!

Dr. Oku is amazing! She is kind, thorough, and makes eye appointments way more enjoyable than they have any right to be. She explains everything clearly, answers all my questions, and somehow makes getting your eyes checked feel relaxing instead of awkward. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and wants the best for them. Plus, thanks to her, I can confidently say I’m seeing life a little more clearly now 😄 Highly recommend Dr. Oku to anyone looking for a great eye doctor!

Drs Oku and Williams have cared for our family’s vision needs for over 20 years. The office staff is professional, personable, and incredibly efficient. They carry and excellent selection of eyeglasses. The labs used make top notch glasses. Issues, concerns or adjustments are handled promptly by the staff.
