The staff is cordial and polite. Dr. Habekovic seems competent to address a range of eyecare issues. However, his bedside manner is lacking, he gave me a diagnosis and did not go into what options were available for treatment or long term prognosis. On a second opinion, an Optometrist (not an Opthamologist, as Dr. Habekovic is) at RxOptical came to the same conclusion, found another issue that I'm reciving treatment for, and was patient to explain my options and discuss long term treatment plans. I found out that even if you have a good primary carrier, a family member under your insurance with a secondary carrier that the office doesn't like will be denied an appointment at this office. Something to keep in mind if you are looking for a family Opthamologist. I'm sure Dr. Habekovic is a fine surgeon, but for routine care, there are many more options in this town who take a wider range of insurance plans.
