My 10 month baby was referred to this office for eye alignment surgery. The staff and facility are great but I gave it two stars because although Dr. Maria Cristina Fernandez was very nice, i often times felt rushed. In addition, I was not happy with the outcome of the surgery and when I expressed that to her, she didn't offer any treatment alternatives, she just said to follow up in 3 months. When the staff called to confirm the 3 month f/u I expressed I was not happy with Dr Fernandez's work and I will not be returning and they simply said "ok". No one ever called to find out why I was unhappy.

Dr. Fernández treated our daughter and eventually operated on both her eyes. During each visit she was very patient, thorough and attentive. She has extensive training with a wealth of first hand research. Our daughter had successful surgery and subsequent follow up visits with no issue.

Horrible doctor!!!! Does not do well with kids. Took my 6 yr old daughter for a regular eye exam and she was not patient with her and had a rude attitude. Did not want to dilate her eyes but the doctor with a nasty attitude said if she doesnt dilate her eyes she cannot write a prescription. Doctor is bad educated especially with manners, needs to work on how she treats and talks to people especially little kids. I do not recommend this doctor and suggest you take your chances with someone else. Good Luck!

Doctor is great, some of the staff could have been more kind. A few of them were very business like and not warm. The wait time was a little longer than I’d like, but that’s common in every doctors office.

I never go home to write a review, but I felt I had to! I took my two daughters with her today eye vision checkups. She was attentive, professional, and took her time to explain not only the diagnosis and treatment options. I am really happy to have found her! Thank you Dr!
