Dr. Rodman is a really pleasant, personable, and professional optometrist. The exam was extremely comprehensive (thorough) and he answered every single question. He will help you feel comfortable with having bad eyesight while completing the exam and won’t rush you along - it’s easy to tell that he really values his patients and genuinely likes what he does. I’ve been wearing glasses since 5 years old and this has to be one of the best visits I’ve had. Also, The assistants are wonderful! I can’t speak enough about Candie(?) who, out of pure kindness, fixed and cleaned my hobbled glasses. The gentleman assistant whose name I didn’t catch, was also super pleasant and gave me a ton of information about what my insurance will and won’t pay for. The doctor was really nice. I wasn’t too happy with the lady at the desk who takes the payments. I was getting my child new glasses and his insurance isn’t excepted there. (Which obviously I knew when making the appointment) He chose Oakley glasses and I asked for the scratch resistant coating and transitional like he already had in his current glasses. The lady gives me the total and says “Can you pay this?” That was very insulting.
