Dr. Baur is great! After 30 years of wearing contacts/glasses, moving towns, and even switching eye doctors for insurance reasons, Dr. Baur remains my favorite optometrist I’ve had and I find myself coming back to him and Visibly Better Eye care because it all makes sense (even when my insurance isn’t accepted). Dr. Baur is easy to talk to, kind, professional, VERY knowledgeable, and always gives really great insight with all things relating to my eyes, contact wear, etc… I’ve never felt like he’s trying to just sell me a product, reading from a pamphlet, or relied on me to tell him the type of contacts I should try (all of which I’ve experienced with other eye doctors). The products/contacts he’s switched me to or recommended over the years have been great. And he also handles all my questions and takes time to talk things over. Recently when my eye became bloodshot and I knew I needed to get it looked at, I found myself returning to Dr. Baur because he’s the guy I trust the most. (I had switched my vision provider a few years ago so I could utilize my EyeMed insurance). The fact that he is a part of Visibly Better Eye Care/Costco is just a perk as I also know pricing will be fair even without insurance. 10/10 would recommend.
