I have been Dr. Zuniga's patient since I met her at the old office at Lenox mall Lenscrafters. She is an amazing doctor and helped me get in w/ the best surgeon to get Lasik done in 2012. I am now seeing her for my yearly eye exams at Avalon Lenscrafters which is closer to my home :)

Terrible doctor. ZERO attention to detail. Sells you on (optional) imaging and refuses to do a dilation if you don't get imaging. The accuses you of not being prepared if you don't agree to imaging. Did not discuss any test results with me. Did not ask me about my vision or any concerns regarding it. HORRIBLE. No concern. Get you in, get you out. Zuniga is the worst I've experienced BY FAR. Checked with others, and they also received the same imaging spiel. Been to many doctors before and not once encountered such an up-sell by a doc and on top of that, refuse to do a dilation when you don't agree to it.

Dr Norma Zuniga was very unpleasant and unprofessional- I feel like my middle school bully became an optometrist and has been practicing her tormenting more than eye care. I’m not sure where the good reviews are coming from, but I sure hope others have had better experiences than me.

I have been an eye glass and contact wearer for 15+ years. I never ever write reviews but felt this one was necessary. I did not have a good experience with Dr. Zuniga to the point I ended up seeing a different eye doctor somewhere else 2 months later. I went back 3 times, (1st was my eye exam, 2nd time was to pick up contacts to try and 3rd was a follow up). I told her multiple times the contact lense prescription she gave me was extremely blurry and I felt very frustrated because she basically said well this is your prescription and she was very unprofessional about it. Asking me what I want to do; I’m not the doctor so I need guidance and help on what to do. Instead of her helping me, I ended up finding a new eye doctor due to the frustration and had to pay for an out of pocket eye exam at that point. But my eye sight is perfect now with my new prescription. I compared my new prescription for an astygmatism to the one Dr. Zuniga gave me and they could not be more opposite which makes sense why the one she gave me was blurry, it wasn’t even right for my eyes. She needs to have more patience with her patients instead of feeling like you’re being talked down to and work out solutions.
