I have been going to Dr. Fellenbaum for over 25 for glaucoma treatment. He was highly recommend when I first went to him and anytime I mention his name now, all I hear is that he is the best. I trust him completely with my eyes and other than family, they are my most important asset. If you have glaucoma give him a try if he is taking new patients. You won't be sorry.

Worst “bedside manner” ever. My mother has been a patient of Dr. Fellenbaum for quite a few years. As she got older and her health (hearing and eyesight) began to decline, I saw a real change in his attitude toward my mother. He had no tolerance whatsoever for her lack of hearing and was downright rude on more than one occasion. I even heard him utter a profanity once when I brought my mom in for a problem visit, and he saw who the patient was. I would not recommend him and I will not be bring my mother back to see him.

Had cataract surgery by him. Someone I know who works in the eye care field told me before hand, “NO!! Do NOT go to him!!” But my regular eye doc recommended him so I decided to go with him. Big mistake. Worst bedside manner ever. My vision did NOT improve AT ALL after the surgery. When I told him this he got angry and YELLED at me, “There’s nothing wrong with that eye and I did nothing wrong!!” I’m convinced that he implanted the wrong prescription lens in my eye which is why my vision got no better. After the procedure at my follow up visit in his office I tried to engage him in conversation about where he went to college as I had lived in that town myself.... he basically ignored me, making it very apparent he was not interested in talking with me. While I was under sedation having the procedure done I heard him and the assisting nurse talking about a Rolling Stones concert they had both attended. I had seen the stones myself years ago - while having my follow up visit with him the day after the procedure I brought up having heard his and the nurses conversation about the Stones and mentioned how great the concert was that I saw. He snapped at me, “whatever,” and made it clear that he did not care to converse with me at all. Between the VERY LONG wait times in the office, the failure of the procedure I had and his rude behavior, I would never return to him nor recommend him to anyone!!!
